About the project
The Chabad School is a religious public school located in Ir Ganim Gimmel. The school primarily serves disadvantaged children from housing projects in the neighborhood, including many immigrant children (in 1994, they represented 25% of the student population). The Jerusalem Foundation has supported the purchase of books and furnishings for the school library, establishment of a science laboratory in 1994 and renovations in 1997.
