About the project
THE COHEN FAMILY LAKE is directly in front of the Dworsky Visitors Center and opposite the garden restaurant. The lake is dedicated in loving memory of Haimaki & Rachel Cohen and can be found in the European section of the garden.
The bridge over the lake is also a gift of the Cohen family and is dedicated in loving memory of David and Eva Scheps-Jakobowitsch of Basle, Switzerland. The lake is home to many subspecies of water lily as well as many other types of water plants.
Ducks, swans and heron can often be seen “gliding” and fishing the waters.
