About the project
The Jerusalem helped establish an Early Childhood Education Center on Strauss Street in Mekor Baruch in 1980 to assist staff of day care centers operated by Na’amat. At the time, the women’s organization operated 32 day care centers in the city for children between the ages of three months and four years. The facility provided a library and classes in childhood development, early identification of special needs and more.
