About the project
The East Jerusalem Support Center for Children with Cancer was established in 1999 to improve the quality of life for Arab children with cancer and to help their families to cope with the demands of the illness. The center provided family counseling, social activities, hospital visits, tutoring, summer camp programs and other services. It was modeled after Zichron Menachem, the Israeli association for the support of children with cancer and their families.
