About the project
The East Talpiot Religious Elementary School serves the East Talpiot neighborhood. In 1989, the Jerusalem Foundation provided furniture and books for and supported activities at the school’s Pedagogical Center, a small library and learning center. In 1990, it began supporting the school’s enrichment program for Ethiopian immigrant children, which included academic help and after school activities to help the students make the difficult transition into the Israeli public school system. The school shares its facility with the Dvir special education school.
