About the project
El-Millawiya Elementary School serves more than 700 girls from kindergarten to grade six in the Old City’s Muslim Quarter. The school is located in a building built in the 1950s and added onto in the 1960s. The Jerusalem Foundation supported improvements to the school in 1994, including renovation of the music room and the nature and science laboratory.
