About the project
The Volunteer Centre at the Koschitzky Young Adult Centre strives to engage the city’s young adult population in Tikkun Olam (social justice): developing an active commitment to Jerusalem through community service experiences. By working on behalf of the disadvantaged in multi-faceted, social action activities, young Jerusalemites forge long-lasting relationships that strengthen the city of Jerusalem, the capital’s needy residents, and the young people themselves. Canada House’s central location in the heart of the city makes it the ideal setting for the Volunteer Jerusalem centre.
