About the project
The Jerusalem branch of the Hapo’el Sport Association, which operates the Hapo’el Jerusalem professional soccer and basketball teams, includes a youth division, which offers after school and summer programs, including special programs for children from disadvantaged homes. In 2005, the programs attracted approximately 750 children. The Jerusalem Foundation has provided support to the association for the purchase of equipment and for activities since 1977.
