About the project
The Home for Every Child Association is a family service organization established in 1975 under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs and the Hebrew University to help young children at risk. The organization evaluates and treats high-risk children, operates protective settings, and addresses issues of adoptive families. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported the organization’s summer camps and has provided subsidies for cultural events, enrichment activities and health programs at facilities operated by the organization, including its after school club, Beit Sherman (a transitional home or neglected and abused children) and Beit Re’im (a home for children who have been removed from their parents’ custody and are awaiting adoption.)
