About the project

Lifeline for the Old is a voluntary community organization founded in 1962 by M. Mendilow to help needy and disabled seniors to integrate into mainstream society through creative and productive work. The organization operates craft workshops and provides additional support services to provide seniors with purposeful recreation and self-help activities. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported the organization since 1969 through the generosity of hundreds of donors worldwide.
