About the project
The Patient’s Friends Society Jerusalem is an organization providing medical care and health education in east Jerusalem since 1991. The society runs educational programs and established the first support group for Palestinian breast cancer survivors in 2000. The Jerusalem Foundation supported a program on prevention and early detection of osteoporosis, breast cancer and other diseases affecting women that included public seminars at east Jerusalem schools, clinics and clubs in 2003.
