About the project
Prevention of Premature Births was a municipal project to provide medical and social support and to monitor women identified as being at high risk of giving birth to premature babies. Five gynecologists, two nurses, a social worker and doctors at Mother & Child Centers around the city provided examinations, treatment and home monitoring to hundreds of “high risk” women.
