About the project
Israel as a modern society aims to see every young adult receive equal opportunities to achieve academic, financial and social success. The reality, however, is that many young people start out their adult lives at a disdvantage, whether due to childhoods characterized by economic deprivation, insufficient access to educational or therapeutic services, poor role models, and/or dysfunctional family situations. Project Bishvili personalizes the provision of the Centre’s resources to these disadvantaged young people, specifically those lacking family support, a high school diploma, and/or army service experience, to ensure that they receive the support they need in the manner in which they need it most. The Project thus empowers young men and women from a range of backgrounds to overcome the social, educational, and economic barriers to success and achieve their life goals.
