About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation has supported several municipal projects to provide tutors to disadvantaged students who demonstrated aptitude in the natural sciences. In one effort, Hebrew University students worked with approximately 30 students each year at the Denmark Comprehensive School, the Evelina de Rothschild School and other schools. In another, elementary school teachers received specialized training to serve as science tutors.
