About the project
The Summit Institute in Israel, a unit of the Summit School International, was established in 1973 by Zvi Stiskin, Dave Schonbrun and Professor Stanley Schneider to provide innovative care for children, youth and young adults at risk.
The Summit Institute reaches approximately 1,200 of Israel’s most disadvantaged young people through its community-modeled psychosocial rehabilitation programs, the Center of Parents of Adolescents and rehabilitative family-based residential programs for infants and youth removed from their homes due to severe abuse and neglect.
