Kiryat Ben Gurion, Kaplan st.

About the project

The Youssef Khakshouri Plaza is located at the intersection of Kaplan and Ruppin Streets below the Knesset and opposite the Israel Museum. The
Jerusalem Foundation created the plaza’s main feature, a 4 X 6-meter clock created out of flowering plants, in 1987. The clock was modeled after European examples; its mechanism was imported from Switzerland. In 2005, the municipality renovated the clock and surrounding area.
