About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation erected a stone sculpture opposite the Great Synagogue (Hechel Shlomo) in 1981 that is one of a pair of sculptures of biblical verses created by Jerusalem-based sculptor Daniel Kafri (b. 1945, Czechoslovakia).
