About the project

The Jerusalem Foundation helped establish the Jerusalem Municipal Support & Training System for Emergencies in 2002 to support and coordinate all emergency and rescue efforts in Jerusalem, including those of the police, fire and rescue services, Magen David Adom medical emergency workers and Zaka victims identification workers. The system brings together directors of emergency organizations on a regular basis to develop interpersonal and interorganizational cooperation and to discuss common professional problems.
