About the project
The Jerusalem Stone Sculpture Workshop was a month-long event held near Koret Liberty Bell Park (then, Liberty Bell Garden) to assist sculptors, particularly new immigrant artists, to develop skills in working with Jerusalem stone. Each sculptor was provided with a stone of his or her choice and a month’s wages. Seven sculptures created in the workshop were later placed in parks throughout the city.
