A fascinating, unique, socio-political contemporary art museum situated near the Old City of Jerusalem, precisely on the geographic seam line between East and West, at the meeting point of the three monotheistic religions. Its location and historic building lent to its becoming the first socio-political museum in Israel for contemporary art.
In its unique way, the museum presents art as a language with no boundaries, encouraging public discussion of diverse social issues and bridging social gaps. MOTS regularly conducts several rotating exhibitions in Jerusalem each year, welcoming diverse audiences of art lovers from Jerusalem and Israel as well as schools, university students and artistic leaders.
Support enables the Museum’s select exhibitions, promoting equality, human rights and diversity. The Museum specifically seeks support towards the development of a spectacular lookout point on the rooftop of the historical building, offering breathtaking views that capture the Museum’s seamline essence and highlight the messages it promotes.
